The lottery for the 2026-27 school year has been run. Applicants have received notification of a spot offer or waitlist position via email.

There are still spaces in 6th and 7th grades. Please submit the application on this page to request a spot for your middle schooler.

If you have students in elementary grades (including PK), they can join the waitlist for next year using the form on this page.

Families living in specified zip codes are considered priority in the first round of the lottery. Those who live in the 78724 zip code receive first priority. Secondary priority zip codes include: 78702, 78721, 78722, 78723, 78725, 78741, 78744, 78752, 78753, 78754, 78758, 78617, 78621, 78653, 78660, and 78664.

If available openings remain after the first round, students living outside these zip codes but in the following school districts may enroll: Austin, Manor, Elgin, McDade, Del Valle, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Dripping Springs, Hays, Wimberly and San Marcos.

Magnolia has no admissions criteria and is FREE for all eligible students. Students in PK3 and PK4 may be charged tuition if the student is not eligible for public preschool in Texas. You can read more about our tuition rates here.

Regarding Potty Training:
Children who have potty accidents without medical diagnoses are expected to properly take care of their bathroom needs with minimal assistance from school staff. Minimal assistance refers to buttoning or zipping pants, handing items such as wipes or cloths, and reminders to wash hands or flush the toilet. School staff will NOT provide personal hygiene tasks such as wiping or changing the child’s clothing. Children must be able to clean themselves independently and unassisted. 

Children who are medically unable to properly potty train will require a medical provider order or are enrolled in a specialized educational program for school staff to diaper or assist in toileting
